Who we are

Youth Dream is a registered charity dedicated to fostering mental well-being and aiding young people on their path to healthier minds and productive futures. As a prominent mental health charity on the Manhood Peninsula, we're dedicated to fostering positive change for our young people.

Youth Dream creatively and innovatively tailors support to match our service users' unique needs and circumstances.

Our collaboration extends to diverse stakeholders across the Manhood Peninsula, including schools, local government, medical and social services. Clubs and youth organisations like Scouts, football and cricket groups also benefit from our involvement. Our services include extracurricular activities, community events and specialised support for disadvantaged and vulnerable youths.

History
Established in 2011 in response to the budget cuts in Youth Provision, our charity is driven by the belief in equitable support for all Manhood Peninsula youth. Our goal: a society where mental health is both comprehended and valued. Through our devoted professionals, volunteers, and advocates, we tirelessly provide youth services in Selsey, Wittering and Bracklesham.

Our Beliefs

We recognize mental health as crucial to overall well-being, parallel to physical health. Our approach encompasses personalised support, programs, and varied activities, catering to the needs of individuals aged 5-16 across diverse backgrounds and communities. Our services span counselling, mentoring, support initiatives, alternative education, and outreach programs, all fostering mental well-being and a nurturing space for growth and development.

Collaboration and partnership are fundamental to our mission. We proactively engage with mental health experts, medical institutions, and educational bodies across the Peninsula, ensuring support and pinpointing gaps in services for young individuals. At Youth Dream, we firmly believe in the power of inclusion and mental health awareness. We aim to empower individuals who seek help, offer support and advocate for change within our communities.
