Volunteering
We place great value on the involvement of volunteers in our work; they enhance the range and quality of services we can provide by donating their time, skills, knowledge, and experience.
We aim to ensure that our volunteers are treated fairly, feel valued and are motivated to provide a professional quality to our services and gain satisfaction from their efforts.
Training
All our volunteers and staff are given induction training, which includes a detailed explanation of Youth Dream's activities and clear lines of communication, as well as on-the-job training for the intended role.
We offer safeguarding and paediatric first aid training for staff and volunteers as well as a free Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Volunteering opportunities: Mentoring, counselling, activity facilitator.
